This wasn’t the happy-go-lucky Muhammad Ali we know from his interviews and talk show appearances. He is pissed.
Ali fought like a Middleweight. When he appeared on the scene we had never seen anyone like him. It was as if he’d come from another planet. He brought grace and beauty to an otherwise brutal sport.
Watching Ali box was like watching Van Gough paint a masterpiece, Pavarotti sing an opera, or Baryshnikov dance. He was an artist and the ring was his stage. There will never be another like him.
We didn’t get to see his best years. I don’t think there ever be another like him. The GOAT!!
