Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, left, stands with the world’s first Mike Tyson wax figure during the figure’s unveiling Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.

The figure is modeled after Tyson’s appearance as himself in “The Hangover.” The figure will be permanently displayed inside the attraction’s “The Hangover Experience” exhibit.

The former heavyweight champion of the world unveiled the latest addition to the Las Vegas attraction’s The Hangover set.
Tyson starred in the first two films of the comedy trilogy and stood for two hours earlier this year as 10 artists took almost 300 measurements.

The 49-year-old’s body was sculpted in clay and covered in a plaster cast; a process which took six months.

‘I knew the replica of me would be of high caliber but I was blown away at the details and how much it truly looked identical to me. Side by side, it’s almost impossible to tell the difference.’

Since retiring, Tyson has also performed on stage in a one-man show about his life.

He remains the youngest man to win the heavyweight world title but is also remembered for biting Evander Holyfield’s ear in their 1997 rematch.
