The 53-year-old former world heavyweight champion has teased fight fans in recent weeks about a comeback, intending to do exhibition fights for charity.

That appears to be on course and Tyson is clearly excited by the potential of his return to the ring.

In an interview with Lil Wayne on Young Money Radio, Tyson was asked if Holyfield was the man he would face.

“Na, na we got many guys. Listen we’ve got so many guys that want to do this man,” Tyson said.

“We’re in calls, we’re doing business with guys right now. You’re not going to believe the names when the names come out. Some time this week we’ll have the contract done.”

Tyson is pumped by his physical transformation from some serious training as he revealed his current weight.

“I’m feeling better than I’ve ever felt in my life. God has been merciful to me man. I’m gonna get on with it, I’m looking good. Yo Wayne, I’m 230 [pounds] right now,” he said.

That converts to 104kg, which is just 5kg more than Tyson weighed for his second fight with Holyfield in 1997.

Tyson reiterated that money from the fights, to be staged over three or four rounds, would go to helping homeless people with drug addictions.

“Man I’m just getting ready you know, I’m just getting ready to help some people out who are less fortunate than me. I’m gonna do this charity event,” he said.

“I’m going to take this money and help these homeless and we’re going to help these addicted brothers. Because I’ve been homeless and I’ve been addicted so I know the struggle. Not many people have survived like I did.”
