Mike Tyson is a popular figure in the world of boxing while being regarded as one of the greatest sportspersons of all time. His unmatched popularity even led to him making a gaming debut with an iconic Nintendo title in the past.

However, once there was an incident where an owner of this retro hit decided to sell it for a highly desired amount. Unfortunately, their wish couldn’t be completed despite them having a rare physical copy.

Nintendo player gets ‘KOed’ while failing to sell Mike Tyson’s Punch Out! for $100,000 in Pawn Stars
The game in this case was none other than Mike Tyson’s Punch Out! which is a Nintendo Entertainment System blockbuster of its time. The seller, whose name was Brian, thought he could sell the copy of the game for a whopping $100,000. However, to his disappointment, the staff was not too much interested in giving him what he wanted.

The episode saw Chumlee interacting with the seller. He told him that he was a huge fan of Mike Tyson, as well as the Nintendo game based on him. He was very sweet also with Brian, thus making it seem like he would happily give him $100,000 to buy the NES title. Sadly, though, being a businessman, Chumlee had some other plans for Brian.

He wanted to offer him a figure between $50,000 and $70,000. But the game owner wanted nothing less than his desired amount, as he thought the copy of Punch Out he had was very exclusive and valuable. Eventually, he had to go empty-handed as he failed to make a knockout deal.

In other words, the seller got “KOed” as he said at the end of the video. Despite packing the punch of the great boxer, he couldn’t succeed in making a lot of money off his name. All things considered, it can be called a stroke of pure bad luck.

‘Iron’ Mike was said to be travelling from San Francisco to Florida on Wednesday night and initially chatted with a pair of fans.

But after asking the passenger sat behind him to ‘chill’ when he became irritated, Tyson, as a TMZ video shows, saw red and hit the man a number of times – causing him to draw blood.

In a statement to TMZ, Tyson’s representatives say the youngest heavyweight world champion was “harrassed” and had a bottle of water thrown at him.
They also claim the passenger was “aggressive”.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him,” Tyson’s team said in the statement.

“And threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat.”

Tyson is said to have exited the plane moments after the fracas whilst the man involved is believed to have needed medical attention and went to the police to report the incident.

There has been no comment from the authorities as of yet.

Tyson, who made a comeback in 2020 at the age of 54, is due to attend a marijuana industry event in Miami on Thursday night.

An avid weed smoker, he got into the legal cannabis business six years ago and is said to rake in $1 million per month from various products such as premium marijuana strains, pre-rolls, beverages and extracts.

During Floyd Mayweather’s win over Manny Pacquiao in 2015, Tyson elbowed a fan in the chest after he grabbed him and asked for a selfie.

Back in December 2020, Tyson warned people that they were getting ‘too comfortable’ with saying things behind a keyboard and not being punished.

“Social media made y’all way to comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it,” Tyson wrote in a Facebook post which has since been taken down.
