In the episode, Mike Tyson proudly declared that he has not had a drink in five years. Despite this impressive accomplishment, the temptation to indulge in alcohol can still be difficult to resist, as was demonstrated in a recent interaction with rapper Wiz Khalifa.

It is no secret that boxing legend Mike Tyson has had his fair share of struggles with addiction throughout his life. However, the former heavyweight champion has overcome these issues and is now in a much better place both physically as well as mentally than before. Moreover, this was only proved after he rejected the offer to do some shots on the latest episode of his podcast.

Wiz Khalifa supports Mike Tyson’s decision to not consume alcohol
During Tyson’s recent episode of Hotboxin’ podcast, co-host Dj Whoo Kid offered Tyson a shot of a Strawberry flavored alcoholic beverage. However, ‘Iron’ Mike responded by stating he had been sober for five years. “I haven’t drank anything in five years,” said Tyson. This led, to Khalifa interjecting and putting aside the drink, “Don’t do it, don’t even get close to it here, get this out of here, let me put it right here,” he said. The rapper then proceeded to move the bottle of whiskey away from Tyson’s reach. This ensured that he would not be tempted to break his streak of sobriety.

Khalifa’s actions demonstrated a great deal of empathy and compassion toward someone who has struggled with addiction. By boldly stepping in and clearing the bottle, the rapper showed that he understands the importance of maintaining sobriety.

Mike Tyson chokes while attempting Wiz Khalifa’s Kush-up challenge
Tyson also attempted Khalifa’s ‘kush-up challenge,’ which involved taking ten puffs without breathing. While Khalifa was able to complete the challenge with ease, Tyson only managed to take a couple of puffs of the joint. He would then choke out as he brutally coughed out the smoke which clearly caused him some problems. “Oh god, help me!” he said.

Despite the momentary setback, Tyson continues to be an advocate for cannabis use and its benefits. His love for cannabis has become a significant part of his life, leading him to create his own cannabis company. Although he may have had a funny moment while attempting the ‘kush-up challenge’ with Khalifa, Tyson remains a strong believer in the benefits of the herb.
