The WBC champion Tyson Fury and former UFC Middleweight Champion Alex Pereira met each other in Australia. The boxing champion was taken aback by the size of Alex Pereira

Boxing fighters and MMA fighters come across each other on many occasions. Something like this happened when Tyson Fury and Alex Pereira met at an event recently. The WBC champion met the dangerous Brazilian fighter in Australia. In a twist, Fury was shocked to witness Pereira in real life.

Tyson Fury also met Israel Adesanya in the same event and later met his rival, Pereira. As they met, the heavyweight champion and the former UFC champion greeted each other respectfully. Fury also tried to perform a takedown on Alex, which he defended with a friendly gesture. Fury got taken aback after seeing the physique of Alex Pereira in real life.

While talking, Tyson looked surprised to see how big Alex Pereira looked. Fury exclaimed, “I thought these guys were small, but they’re fu***ing massive.” The heavyweight boxer could not believe how Alex was almost his height. Though the Gypsy King himself is 6’9 and Pereira is 6’4, there was no real height difference.

Later, both had a discussion about Alex Pereira’s recent loss at UFC 287 against Adesanya. Tyson Fury complimented, “It was going good, you know.” ‘Poatan’ and Gypsy King also discussed his light heavyweight debut match against Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291. After losing the middleweight title, Pereira aims to capture the gold in the light heavyweight division. However, Dana White wants Alex to prove himself against some ranked fighters for the next chance.
