None of the yawns were because Tyson was uninterested in the conversation. Instead, the peculiar yawning of Iron Mike was due to his consumption of mushrooms. Tyson has many times expressed his love for mushrooms and consumes a lot of them.
Burr was talking about comedy gigs for guys just out of prison, which made everyone in the room laugh. However, Tyson was the only one who yawned. The comedian, a bit offended by this, confronted Tyson and came to know Iron Mike was on mushrooms. “Mushrooms are killing me, man. Mushrooms baby, the shrooms i’m shrooming,” said Tyson. Bill Burr being the comedic genius he is capitalized on the moment and roasted Tyson.
“He’s shrooming and he’s wearing pants like he went riding a horse today, like side saddle or some sh*t,” said Burr. Tyson then compared Bill’s roast to his wife’s nagging, which made the room laugh even more.
