Mike Tyson Felt Devastated Seeing Ex-Wife With Brad Pitt

Mike Tyson and Robin Givens’s marriage was a troubled one which eventually ended in divorce. Givens claimed in court and publically that the former boxer was extremely abusive and had a volatile temper. While Tyson claimed that the young actress was a ‘gold-digger’ and wanted to take everything away from him.

After many allegations and ridicule, they eventually divorced in February 1989. But even after the divorce, Tyson continued to seek his ex-wife as he seemed to miss her. In an interview with Conan O’Brien, he revealed how he once took a morning trip to his ex-wife’s house as he missed her.

But there was no one at home and he turned back. Just as he was sitting in his car, he saw his ex-wife with the Oscar winner, Brad Pitt.

“As I go to my car she drives up… she drives up with the handsome Brad Pitt. I was just emotionally comatose… I went from a hard stallion to a wet noodle. It just totally overwhelmed me. I had no energy to fight.”

Tyson stated with a visible frown on his face. Despite the apparent ‘love’ he felt for his ex-wife after their divorce, Tyson claimed in his 1989 book Fire and Fear: The Inside Story of Mike Tyson, that the best punch he had ever thrown in his life was on his ex-wife Givens.
